About

I create because I am created myself and made in the image of my creator. It is God himself who gave me this desire to be a maker.

I have been sewing most of my life, having been taught by my mother. I spent several years sewing for a decorator and then began my own bridal business, which lasted for twenty-five years. Recently, inspired by an artist in South Carolina, I decided to focus my sewing skills on making handbags. I reclaim materials such as leather and wool clothing, and decorator fabrics from jackets, skirts, pants and furniture, and turn it into handbags.

I began this journey in 2015 and have been enjoying the process ever since. I am always finding new ways to use the materials. Every item brings new possibilities.  No two bags are ever alike.

I love the idea of keeping such materials out of the landfills and creating something unique, beautiful and useful again.

I hope you will enjoy them!
